From IT Support to Cloud Security
I grew up around CAC Computer Inc., my family's IT company that's served Western New York for 12 years — so troubleshooting and fixing real infrastructure isn't new to me. What's new is where I've pointed that experience: earning an M.S. in Cybersecurity at Canisius University, passing the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) exam, and now going deep on AWS security and DevSecOps — IAM, network configuration, secure pipelines, and the practical work of hardening cloud environments.
The long-term plan is straightforward: keep building real skills, keep taking on real AWS security work, and grow that into a company that manages cloud security for other businesses.
AWS Security
Hands-on work with IAM policies, S3 configuration, EC2 hardening, and security group audits.
DevSecOps
Building security into the pipeline, not bolting it on after — currently studying CI/CD security practices.
ISC2 Certified (CC)
Passed the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity exam — foundational security concepts, network security, and incident response.
M.S. Cybersecurity
Canisius University — academic grounding in security fundamentals paired with real-world client work.
AI-Assisted Analysis
Building tooling that uses AI to help prioritize and explain security findings, not just list them.
12 Years of IT Roots
Backed by real infrastructure experience through CAC Computer Inc., not just certifications.
GhostGrid Cyber
GhostGrid Cyber is the AWS security consultancy I'm building — an AI-assisted vulnerability scanner paired with hands-on remediation help for small businesses. It's a live project and the first step toward the company I want to run.
AI-Powered Vulnerability Scanning
A custom-built scanner that checks AWS environments for misconfigurations and security risks, then uses AI to prioritize what matters most.
Security Consulting & Remediation
Hands-on help hardening AWS environments — walking clients through every finding and fixing it with them, or for them.
The Path I'm On
I'm early in this journey, and I'm building in the open. Here's the roadmap.
Learn & Certify
ISC2 CC is done. AWS security certifications and deeper DevSecOps skills are next.
Build in Public
Developing GhostGrid's AI-assisted AWS scanner and taking on real consulting engagements.
Secure Real Environments
Hands-on work hardening client AWS infrastructure — the experience that no course can substitute for.
Scale the Company
Grow GhostGrid from a solo practice into a company that manages cloud security for other businesses.
